  1. I have purchased a new CIF single chip usb camera (Webcam Device ID: USB\VID_093a&PID_2460\5&2DAE237C&0&2)The installation cd supplied with the product is not useful. To my surprise IT HAS UNNECESSARILY ADDED pc camera software 1) PC207 AIT DEMO DRIVER which I am not able to unstall
    2)PC CIF Camera@ which also cannot be unstalled
    3)280 WC-WINXP which also cannot be unstalled

    Please guide to a) install the exact driver to install the camera and a) to unstall
    the above said unncessary drivers.
    Thank you,

    1. Start -> Run-> services.msc
    Is Windows Image Acquisition (service) enabled (Automatic or Manual) and started?

    2. See note 102 here... http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic54512-6.html
    This is for your exact VID and PID - VID_093a&PID_2460
    Kimsland has a link for your exact driver, with instructions on how to install.
