Unable to open a particular Web page

Hi!

I am using Windows Xp (SP-2) and IE 6. The explorer works perfectly fine. But recently I faced a problem. I am not able to acess a particular web page. The link is

https://apply.embark.com/grad/cornell/24/

I have a valid ID and Password but when i log in, my brwser goes to the page and the progress bar on my browser gets to halfway and then stops, nothing happens.
After 5 min., the meassage appears that page not found.

However, when i log in at this site using same id n password, from some other PC the site works. What could be the problem that is not allowing that particular webpage to load?

Okay, I loaded the page in Firefox v3.0.4 with no problem. It's the log on page.

Check the security setting in IE6:
Open IE> Tools> Internet Options> Security tab> Restricted Zone> Sites> make sure there is no entry for any of the parts of this URL such as embark.com.

Then check for the secure socket layer settings since this is a secure page (https)
Internet Options Advanced tab> Security sections. CHECK Use SSL2.0> CHECK Use SSL3.0> CHECK Use TLS1.0> Apply> OK

My bet is that one or more of the secure socket layers isn't checked.
