I am having problems in saving my files to disc.

    Error message:
[Word cannot save or create this file
make sure that the disc you want to save the file on,is not full or write protected,or damaged.]

How do I check the disc,to find out if it is write prorected

If it's a standard 3.5" floppy then remove it and make sure the left hole is blocked by the sliding tab. If it is open then the floppy is write protected. (Edit: Forgot this part) Make sure the disk is not full and it is formatted. Right click and select full format if it's a new floppy.

If it's your HDD then right click on the C: drive icon and select properites. It will tell you if your HDD is full.

If you are trying to write to a writable CDROM this must be done through a CD ROM writing software like Nero6.0. Open that application tell it you want to make a data file. Then drag and drop your WORD.DOC file into that application window. Follow burner apps instruction from there.

    Cheers,
