Can someone explain to me what the dimensions for a computer case mean? Take this for example

Azza Orion 201 BLACK/SILVER ATX Mid Tower Case 4X5.25 2X3.5 5X3.5INT 120MM LED Fans Window No PSU

So ATX means the design of the motherboard right?

Mid Tower gives a general category for the size of the case

    What does 4X5.25 2X3.5 5X3.5INT mean? How is there 3 pairs instead of X x Y x Z

    What does the 120MM mean?

That's four 5.25 slots, two 3.5, and five 3.5 INT...those are not dimensions.
    120 millimeters.

To clarify a bit more, the five 3.5 INT are 3.5 inch internal drive slots while the four 5.25 inch and two 3.5 inch slots are external.

What are things that would go in these external and internal drives? I assume one is for the hard drive.

What is the most popular material that cases are made out of?

Well you can fit your breakfast and lunch in there too.
I've tried putting my cat there, but she doesn't fit.
I suppose the answer is anything smaller than 3.5/2,5 inches.
