Unexpected Server Disconnect

When playing Tiger Woods PGA tour 2005 my pc will make the click sound
that you hear when starting up or shutting down. This occours during game
play.Screen goes blank I sometimes can push start button and a few seconds
later the enter password screen appears.After I enter the password It returns
directly to the game,sometimes I can therefore continue gameplay as if nothing happened or I lose connection staus and cannot continue game
In either scenario I have magically jumped back online.Its seems like its
jumping to sleep mode,although I dont know if thats true.I say this because
I dont have to completely reboot PC. Anyone know about similar situations
or problems A solution would greatly appreciated thanks techspot peeps.
