    Hey guys/gals,
Recently won a laptop and it had 32bit win 7 installed on the 64 bit capable system. Im gonna upgrade ye olde ram but before I do I want to format and install the x64 version of the system. Only problem is Id dont think i got a windows disk with the yoke (Im travelling at the moment so I cant check). Its a fully legit Os with product key and all that malarkey just wondering if any of you can suggest a way I can do what I want with out the disk or flash drive that Im fairly sure didnt come with the system...
Sorry for the possibly stupid question,
    Shnig

The 32-bit product key works for x64 discs. You'll be OK.

Ah cool so just borrow a x64 disc and install it off that and use my product key. Sorry I knew I was over looking something silly thanks for the reply!

Now the next issue is to find someone in New Zealand (recently arrived, backpacking) that will let me borrow their disc...
