Couple scenarios for you guys. We currently have 3 laptops. My M2000, a new C2D Toshiba, and an A55-S106.

That aside, the A55 processor is a 1.40GHz Intel Celeron M Processor 360 running XP. Currently has 768MB of ram. It's the slowest of the bunch.

Would maxing out the memory slots at the cost of $56 for 2gb of ram be worthwhile? Will it really make the laptop MUCH more efficient at multitasking?

Or if I decide to sell, do you think having 2GB of RAM will get me a much higher price?

I still use a toshiba satellite M35X from 5 years ago, But I have 1gb ram and a 7200 rpm HD in it. (installed a long time ago). Runs great. If the costs are more than $300 - get a new laptop.
