Upgrading cpu advice please.

    hello, i want to upgrade my cpu from a 3.4HT (single core)to a pentium d 3.2 or 3.4 or better but not extreme editions. i know the D runs hot and its power hungry processor but i have no other choice for my mobo. im more a gamer

    i dont really need vt. Pentium D 935 is better than Pentium D 945? i can still overclock the cpu since my mobo has alot of oc'ing features.

    If you want to overclock you can just get the 915. The difference is the multiplier. Odds are you will only be limited by your cooling with either one.

    That's a nice mobo. Too bad it dosen't support Core 2.

    Well then get a killer HSF like like Toniq Tower 120 or Sycthe Infinity.

    hmm so u suggest me to get a 915 ,adding a good hsf and overclocking it to the max possible ? this sounds good and cheap as well .thanks
