Upgrading laptop memory

Hi,

I have upgraded memory on desktops but never laptops. After viewing a video clip, it looks pretty easy and I just tried removing and reinserting the RAM on my own laptop without a problem. A friend asked me to upgrade her emachine m2105 memory.

I looked at the manufacturer's website etc. What, if any, problems (other than ESD) could I run into?

I don't think there's any other problems you should worry about. RAM installation is the same about 99% of the time.
