  1. Hi,

I have a Dell Dimension 4700 and the motherboard and cpu is getting a little old and i was hoping to get a new one so i could SLI video cards and put in a intel core 2 duo processor. I know the best brands but I dont know which ones are right for my computer and I dont really understand how to put it together (Dell's sight is crap.) Also I would like to know how to add a better power supply as well as more fans.

If anyone can help it would be gladly appreciated as I want a good computer for Crysis and Farcry 2

...You mean you want to build a new computer? To install a Core 2 Duo you'll need a new motherboard. If you buy a new motherboard, you'll need new RAM, a PSU and you want a new video card. You'll also probably want to invest in a new case if your Dell case has one of those proprietary front panel LED connectors. You'd probably be able to recycle your optical drives and HDD if you're not needing the additional storage, though realize that today's HDDs are faster.

    What is your budget?
