upgrading to a pentium 4 question

  1. hello everyone, i want to upgrade to a pentium 4 processor, right now i have a e-machines t2542 with 2.50 ghz celeron processor, and my mother board is a imperial im845gv,478 pin, does anybody know what p-4 processor will work with it? i am looking for a 2.4 or 2.8 ghz p4 thanks.

    Good upgrade, just be sure that your motherboard and bios support a Prescott CPU, if not, get a Northwood P4. Sometimes, it offers better performance that a Prescott cpu and runs MUCH cooler. :D
