Purolator has always been good for me as well, I use them all the time when I order from Newegg. Universal Package Smashers have given me too many boxes that look like they've been to hell and back. Never again.
  2. ^ Thank you. Save the jealousy, or stop being poor.

Seems to me the "rich fool" is the ***** who cares so little about his job that he feels the freedom to throw it away, no big deal.
As has been said this is not about the customer but the delivery man. Let's stop blaming the victims (women, men, black, white, etc., etc.) and put it where it deservedly belongs - on the perpetrator.

  5. Most of you don't even realize that UPS drivers make $70000+ a year and would never put their job in jeopardy in this manner. This is obviously seasonal help with no regret.

Which is sort of ironic, since they probably need them the most. Well, poor people who aren't crack dealers. Come to think of it, they could use one to see the police coming.. I'm the exception that proves the rule. I'm poor, but I have a video surveillance system. Now, if I can only get around to hooking it up.

As for the rest of you parcel delivery logistics experts, listen up....UPS drivers are paid a decent living wage. They also work very hard for it. All my UPS drivers have been stars. I can just about set my watch by them. Reciprocally, I'm at the door like a shot when I hear them. And I try and give them a little something at Christmas. UPS is the best in the business at what they do, period.

Now, on the other hand, FedEx's home delivery division leaves a lot to be desired. To the casual observer, they seem like a bunch of illegal aliens who run around in rented trucks, and you might get your stuff a 6:00 PM, (or later). Plan on the whole day in the house, waiting for that crew. And learn how to correctly identify sub-saharan african accents. I ordered a guitar FX pedal from one supplier, and a $650.00 guitar from another. I had it timed for them to be there on the same day, (Fedex Home). The driver got there about 5:00 PM, and walked up to the door with the $50.00 FX pedal, asking me to sign for it. I actually had to ask him for my.guitar "Oh, by the way, you have another package for me"! "Oh yeah, I remember now". So much for first impressions.
