USB 2.0 to SATA?

    Hi all just a quick one
    i have a wd external and want to hook it up to my data compass the drive has a usb2.0 psb
    so is there and adaptor or trick i can use

    No trick required just remove the drive from the enclosure then connect it to the Data Compass.

    ok so how do i connect it i dont have a usb to ide or sata
    the hdd is usb not sata or ide ?????

    May be I am missing something, but if you remove the drive from the enclosure (take it out of the external box) you should find it has a standard IDE or SATA connection on it, just like any internal hard drive.

    What is the make and model number written on the drive?

    There may be an adapter fixed onto it. Can you upload a picture of it?
