USB 3.0 certification begins, devices closer to debut

  1. Yesterday the new SuperSpeed USB standard, USB 3.0, took another step closer to becoming a reality for consumers as the USB Implementers Forum announced the availability of its compliance and certification program. Interested companies can register for testing on USB-IF's site.

    Were heading for a new level... Windows 7, with USB 3.0, and Solid State Drives... just about everything we know now will be changed two years from now.
