Hi there!
I've just bought a new chassis and I dont know how to connect the front panel USB 3.0..
Because the chassis; Corsair Carbide 300R has 2 front panel USB 3.0 but my motherboard the ASUS P7P55D-E Pro does not have internal USB 3.0 ports. The mobo only has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back I/O.
Now, I'm wondering what I can do to connect the front panel usb 3.0's to the system...
1) I know I can just buy a USB 3.0 expansion card and plug it into my PCI-Express slot on my mobo and then connect the usb 3.0 to them, but they seem quite expensive just for a USB card :/
2) Is It possible to buy an extension/adapter cable to run from the front panel to plug into the USB 3.0 ports in the back?
Or are there any other solutions?
