USB drives are not working on my computer

hi i have a hp computer

when all was working perfectly , all my usb drives are notworking after i put my little sisters mp3 in.

Now if i put a mp3 it charges it but does not get into usb mode and get detected same goes with my mouse it lights up but doesnt work anything got to do with usb isnt working.

Can someone please help me solve this problem

Hi

use Device Manager to remove the USB root hub and reboot , windows will refind the USB items and reinstall them.
