USB Harddrives Shuffled

  1. mrrimshot Newcomer, in training

    I'm running a xp pro on a Dell 2400 on which I have four additional hard drives attached to USB ports. On occasion after booting up the drive letters have been shuffled to different drives which affects my opening of programs. What causes this and how can I prevent it from happen. Thanks

    Start->Run-> diskmgmt.msc

    You can set the drive letters in there
