Hi, I have a problem. In XP this "hack" worked great, but in Vista I haven't been able to get it to work. Recently I encountered a few more URLs that had the username and password info in the url's themselves and I wanted to look a little deeper into the issue. I've followed the instructions at:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834489

At the bottom, with the registry edit, and it didn't seem to work, or do anything. I'd really like to be able to just click those urls and not have to manually fill in the login information. Is there a way in Vista to do this?

Edit: Apart from using Firefox, I want to do this in Internet Explorer.
