    Hi,

I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with a 64MB DDR NVIDIA* GeForce4 MX™ Graphics Card with TV-Out video card. I think that there is something that seems to be messed up with my card that I cannot connect a monitor to my PC. I keep getting an error about a frequency out of range when I boot my computer up. It does however randomly work at times (extremely random !!!). I have 2 questions:

    1. Would anyone have an idea what the problem might be? Is this like a know problem with that particular video card?

    2. What currently available video card will work/be compatible with my Dell 8250? I would still like to hang on to my ancient system as a backup and do not want to upgrade/spend a lot on it.

    Thanks!!

    Re: Q1

Start your computer in Safe Mode (by pressing F8 at system startup)
Un-install any graphics drivers from Add\remove programs, and from Device Manager (Start->Run-> Devmgmt.msc), and remove it from there too

Then restart you computer back to Normal Mode
Then download and install the newest graphics drivers from here:
