Video card questions from a noob

You guys have been having some fun here I see. Remember "Careful what you say on forums like this man, I understand that you are interested in computers and you want to sound knowledgable about them. But people use these forums to help them decide what hardware to buy and how to maintain them, so when you go and say stuff like that, you could be costing people some money, bro"?

Its not necessary, but if it isn't too much a hassle.
You can also measure your case and compare with the card size, which will usually be listed at newegg.

The corsair 400w is great o.o, one of my favorites.

Here is what my motherboard/perphrial I plan to put the card in looks like, sorry if the pictures are too big.

my big concern is this:

Will it fit on the board and the outputs stick out of the tower with no problem?

It will work fine unless you have a device that needs that pcie x1 below your pcie x16 slot. it just takes up two of the knockout plates on the back....you know the ones revealing that dreadful wallpaper? J/K

hah, great then it will fit bc i dont plan to ever use that pcie x1

also thats actually a kitch table clothe, i dont have enough lighting in my room
