  1. I'm considering the purchase of some video editing software. I tried out Pinnacle Ultimate Studio 12 on a friend's but wasn't sure if that was the one I wanted. I also tried out Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 but was very confused. Is Pinnacle the way to go or should I find something else? I also used Cyberlink Powerdirector 6 which was quite simple but lacked some features that I was looking for.

When I went through my Adv. Tech. class we used Premiere and Final Cut. I like those. Haven't tired much else though.
