Virus scan option definitions

I'm new to computers and virus scanning. I have McAfee virusware. After I scan my disk it gives me 3 choices; clean, delete, and quarantine. What's the difference and what should I choose?

You should get it to delete threats. Is that the only security software you use?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your best bet would be to quarantine what`s found. That way, if it turns out to be a false positive, you can always restore the file/s.
