Vista backup wizard hangs up

I have a DELL Inspiron 1525 laptop. I cannot backup my files to a DVD using the Vista backup Wizard. I get this error message: "failed " "The requested resource is in use. (0x800700AA)". I am able to "manually" transfer files from my D drive to the DVD (on the E drive) and I can transfer the files back, so the DVD drive is working. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm not sure why, but the problem has gone away.

Glad to hear it! If it comes back, see if you can adjust the data transfer rate for the DVD drive as it may be that the backup software is trying to feed the drive at too high a rate.
