Hello,
I have a new alienware m9700 laptop.
amd turion 2.4 ghz ml-44 processor
2 gb ddr 3200 memory
vista ultimate 32 bit
system is running great except 1 issue
agere system ac97 modem will not connect to dial up connections for more than 2 to 3 minutes and disconnects constantly
alienware has been working on problem ,but is not having any luck with it yet.
motherboard has been replaced
techs have worked to get internet to hold connection, but modem is still not cooperating.
received back again and noticed vista listed driver DriverVer=02/15/2006,2.1.66with compatability issue.
if anyone has any information it would be appreciated.

found a 2.1.77 driver earlier but wouldn't install, I imagine it also a incompatable
driver also with vista
