    Hi!

I have been having problems with my computer for a little over a year now. I believe it may be lying in the memory, but am not sure. Here is what I know and have done:

    (1) Everything in the "Before you post your minidumps" thread.
    (2) After running memtest on my 4 gig, I discovered 2 that appeared bad. Removed those and will call memory co. to send back
    (3) Still having problems.

My system, as of these 3 minidumps, is Vista 32 SP2, 2 gig ram.

Can someone please look at these and let me know of any problems they see?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Rob, please give us your five most recent minidumps in one Zip file.

If you have any errors with memtest those sticks need to be replaced as you are doing. I or someone else will read your dumps.

Well, I'd post more if I had them. I've actually reinstalled Vista somewhere around the 7 or 8 mark now. These are the only dumps since my last reinstall.

    Thanks,

    Rob

Rob, did these errors occur after you removed the two memory sticks that were bad?

My reason for asking is because your third dump is an 0x8E error ansd these are almost laways caused by hardware and are especially a strong indicator of corrupted memory.

And this dump specifically cited corrupted memory as the cause.

Yes, they did. I'll rerun memtest again on the 2 gigs left. Maybe I got a bad batch of memory?

    Thanks,

    Rob
