Vista static IP problem

  1. I'm starting to get really annoyed at this because i cannot find any information anywhere on how to remove "autoconfiguration enabled"

    heres a pic of my cmd screen:

    i've tried changing allsorts but nothing has worked and this stupid "autoconfiguration" stops me from seeing my name servers :mad:

    please help :(

    That is very strange that you can't change from automatic to static ip going to properties of Interent Protocol TCP/IP...in your case you should set your static IP that is without DHCP pool...you can always clean all your TCP/IP configuration with command from cmd: netsh int ip reset c:\logfile.txt than try again...

    err... tried that and "autoconfiguration" crap is still there
