Hello - Help!,

My Windows Vista Ultimate has just restarted x2 unexpectedly once frozen with no I/O controls available. I have attached the two minidumps in the hope someone may be kind enough to diagnose, help and suggest a way forward.

To cover, I have recently installed a new hard drive, rebuilt the OS/applications and have no hardware conflicts/issues.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated - Thank you!

Dump 1 - 0x1A ntkrnlmp.exe faulted with driver Mp3tag.exe

0x1a = MEMORY_MANAGEMENT - This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.

Dump 2 - 0x8E win32k.sys faulted with driver iTunes.exe

0x8e bugcheck = Kernel mode exception not handled.

So, you have a problem running your Mp3tag player with iTunes!?!

Great, thank you for your time and help. Your answer would concur with my initial thoughts - I have a large iTunes library and it would appear it became corrupt whilst editing (Mp3tag was running in the background).

Thanks again!
