Vista update?

Will I be able to update my unregistered XP Pro with the Windows Vista Update?

Just wondering, and yes, I am evil.. Geeezz...

Yes, there's a 'trick' posted on this very forum on how to do a clean install of Vista. So if you buy the upgrade, you can install it one way or the other.

Also consider the OEM version. It's cheaper than the upgrade. The drawback is it cannot be transferred to another system (motherboard). However, Microsoft isn't enforcing this if your motherboard has to be replaced due to hardware issues...
