  1. So have any of you heard of the Windows Vista Workaround.
If not, just google "vist workaround" or techspot it.( its basically being able to install a fresh copy of Vista with an UPGRADE CD!) This saves money, but only costs some extra time.

well anyway, have any of you tried it? If so, did it work?

Im thinking about getting V. Premium today or tomorrow and giving it a try.

So get an upgrade CD and install Vista on a new PC? sounds like piracy to me.

We have an article on our front page about this. See HERE.

Apparently Microsoft has no intentions of closing the loophole at the moment.

Whether this is legal or illegal is open to debate in my opinion.

    Regards Howard :)

I hope they don't close up the loophole by the time I get motivated enough to send in my request for the Vista Home Premium upgrade.

I dont think this is Piracy, but rather something else, It MIGHT violate the EULA but you are buying the license, and in my case really upgrading from XP except in a different way. Face it, the full install is expensive,I dont think its piracy, and Microsoft has no intrest of closing this loophole because it rather work on fighting the real pirates who download it and crack it.
