A repair shop may or may not be able to repair it.
I had an expensive appliance take a lightning hit once.
The repair was partly successful, but not cost effective in the long run.
You replace one part, but a remaining part that is also damaged may ruin the new part.
    Not such a good approach.

Sorry to be a pessimist, but I think you better bite the bullet and get a new LCD TV.
32" shouldn't be too expensive... and probably less expensive than trying to do a shop repair.

First check to see if the place where the Vizio was hit is covered by insurance... because if you meddle with it after the strike, instead of sending it to authorized service center, the insurance is void..
