Vobsub causing choppy video

  1. playing .rm files with .srt subtitles on windows media player gives choppy video. how do i fix this? vobsub is installed and used to display the subs

    use a program like ripit4me to clean up the video. Then try a different video player like divx or VLC player. Both are free and can be found on the net.

    no, the video itself plays fine on vlc and and media player and all without the subtitles but with the .srt file it gets choppy...and I could only get the subtitles to display with windows media player and not media player classic.
