W7 & MS Updates

Go to the start menu, type in: "fix" ,and choose the option that says: "Find and fix problems", after this, under "System and Security", chose "Fix problems with Windows Update"

Your updates are saying they failed. I have had this happen to. If I try back at a later time. They most usally install then. I think it has to do with the site.

Well, I've been trying since last month to get them installed. If you know of another way to get them installed, fine.
I got this pc on 12/23/12

Not really accept for micrsoft fix it tool. Which I have already told you about. Maybe someone here will know.

Ok, I just googled "How to install failed MS Updated & the first link I clicked is this one http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...-updates/c5cf3a1d-f825-4745-a6a8-83613021a0eb
I'm going to try this part;
Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Windows Update.
On the Windows Update Web page, click View update history. A window opens that shows all the updates that have been installed or that have failed to install on the computer.
In the Status column of this window, locate the update that failed to install, and then click the red X.
When clicked, a new window will open that displays the installation error code.
Once you have found out the particular update:
Go to the Microsoft Downloads website. Type in the update number (KBxxxxxx) in the search box and press enter. Then click on the link for the specific update and click the downloadbutton. You will get the option to run or save the download, save it to your PC. Once it has completed downloading you will get an option to run, open folder, or close. Make sure all other applications are closed and select the run option. (If you close this window or need to attempt to install again, just go to the location the file was saved to and double-click the file. This will begin the install process again.)
If the manual install fails, try turning off UAC, then attempt the install again. Click HERE for instructions to turn off UAC.

Ok, the above idea failed so I googled the KB #'s & the first one (now deleted from above post) was not for this machine.
I'm giving up. Thanks for everybodies help.:)

Don't give up just yet, whenever I have a complicated Windows issue, I always write on Answers, try making another thread on Answers with your problem. It may be different from the one above^. Microsoft engineers will know how to fix it 99% of the time from my experiences. Then if that doesn't work, sadly give up :(
