I am a product designer and I'm looking to get a graphics tablet in order to improve my skills set and my portfolio. I've pretty much settled on wacom but finances are a bit tight. I've read very good things about the Intuos (2 and 3) but new ones are a bit out of my price range at the moment.
How do the Graphire tablets compare to the Intuos, would i be waisting my time going the Graphire route. Intuos are currently going 2nd hand on eBay for around £80-£100 for a5 size and i can get a new Graphire for about the same price, maybe cheaper.
I mainly need it for digital sketch renderings in Alias StudioTools and PhotoShop.
Any advice?
