I have a WD External Hard Drive 500GB (WD5000d032-002). I've had this for some time now. I've used it on both my desktop and laptop and it's worked fine, it's full of material that i need.
However one day i plug t in and it powers up, i feel it boot up, yet nothing shows up. Doesn't show up in computer. I go into device manager and all it shows is "USB Mass Storage Device". When i plug it in it shows that it installed fine so im not sure what the issue is.
Can anyone help? I'll check back here frequently to try to get this fixed if not im usually on aim most of the night you can just check my profile and send me a message it would be greatly appreciated.
