    Trying to install LifeCam 3000 and can get vidoe OK but no audio. Test screen shows up asking me to speak a few lines to test input but nothing happens. Checked the mike through Control Panel and it is on. Using Windows XP Pro.

    Is the mike on camera and do you have another mike installed? I yes, make sure that the correct mike selected. I had the same issue with my Logitech camera and the software was trying to read off the mike on my sound card.
