hi,
i have one website . the domin name registerd in namecheap.com and server space in godaddy.. now my problem is i cant go to my web page..
when i type this address like this http://www.name.com/ that wil not getting .. i mean page cant find page coming.. if i give "name.com" i can go to that site.. then most time both address are nt working.. why its happening... not problem of my computer that i know . i can visite all other sites too,,
from yesterday i can access some times both site,, that mean i cant get the site all time.

this http://www.name.com/ that wil not getting ..if i give "name.com"
get a command prompt and enter
nslookup name.com
nslookup www.name.com
nslookup www.google.com
  1. If all three fail, then your DNS address is bad
  2. If www.google.com works and BOTH of your NAMES fail, then the registar at namecheap.com
has not completed the task OR the updates have yet to be copied to the other backbone servers
  3. If ONE of your names works and the other does not, then you only registered that one
and namecheap.com did not add the alias name for the other

I have a domain just like yours (name.com), but BOTH names get resolve via the DNS

I can get to both sites without error
http://www.topstarhitechfab.com/ only has one link working in site - works
But looking good basically

And http://www.sreelakshmiassociates.com/ is fully "under construction"

Both pages load quickly, and as I said "topstarhitechfab" looks good, although I don't like the name - too easy to get wrong by typing it in wrong.

Therefore, the fault must be in your computer only - highly likely firewall.

It works in firefox too

This page gives info http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml/ on xhtml your using

Don't know what else to say, it works !

Very interesting!

This morning I could not get to either, NSLOOKUP did not return IP addresses
and WHOIS failed as well.

Just now, I can get to the first, but not the latter :)

This demonstrates that DNS update need time to ripple throughout the Internet backbone servers :)
