howard, did you use my script to read those? lol

Incidentally, they did work when I tried them from here, so not sure what your error was about.

I'm working on putting together a how-to on installing this script, probably post it here tomorrow, so anybody who wants to give it a go on their own server is welcome.

Also Greenflash, if you don't have RAM to swap, run memtest86 on it for a few hours.

    cheers

No mate I didn`t. I used windbg lol.

I still think your script is great though, and do use it from time to time.

    Regards Howard :)

    Ok guys, it's coming soon.

Howard, the reason I asked is because I want to know if there is another debug tool I should add to the script, besides the bugcheck. Is windbg also a console program? Cause I could display the output from that as well.
If I do add windbg to the script, I'll post the code after that.

Windbg is part of the Windows debugging tools.

    You can get them HERE

Right, I have the tool, what I mean is, can it be used in command line so I can add it to the script? Or does it not work that way?

Any way to make the script more helpful is good.

Just an update, for those of you who ever used the script, it's been moved to my other domain, where it will hopefully stay.
The site is brand new so I'm adding stuff slowly but surely.

    The link is http://www.zacksdomain.com/?page=tools&t=bugcheck

I also updated it in the first post.
Let me know if there are problems.

    MiniDump reader NOT working . . .

    Vigilante,

The website for your MiniDump reading program has gone down, Do you plan on re-establishing on another site? I have not been able to use your little program and am very eager to try it out. How large is the software? Maybe you could send me a copy to use until you get you a site to serve it. I am not smart enough to do this for you or I would. I plan on checking with some sites I know about to see if I can find one for you.

Thank you for reading my poster,

ditto. This would be an interesting alternative to the non-user friendly windows version.
