Webcam and Outlook

I bought a Logitech Webcam C200 and set it up and contacted my sister. She can hear and see me but I can only hear her. She said her webcam launches from Outlook and has no idea how to adjust the settings. I have never used Outlook so I'm in the dark as to what to tell her.

Webcam launches from Outlook. Why don't she change to another program like skype or Msn to talk easier?
