Webcam driver

  1. hello, I have an webcam which states HP, and the
    Hardware id is: USB\Vid_06a2&Pid_0003&Rev_0000
    USB\Vid_06a2&Pid_0003

    Compatible id:USB\Class_ff&SubClass_00&Prot_ff
    USB\Class_ff&SubClass_00
    USB\Class_ff


    I require a driver to operate this webcam, please help. I installed the Topro 6800 driver but when i switch on my cam through yahoo messenger I got a black and white screen & when i click the USB webcam camera option in my computer I received green dashes .

    So please help me so that i could be able to operate this cam.

    Topro is the only driver i seem to find as well

    1) What version of Windows are you running?
    2) Open Device Manager, Rt click the web cam Properties->Driver

    what does it say for the driver Provider? Version and Date? (maybe we can a different / later version)

    my driver version is 1.5.104.0 and driver date 1/4/2005

    i use windows xp.

    Driver provider is USB

    Sorry I don't have better news but that's the same driver, date and version that i find i as well. (I also found i provided it once before to someone else - did you download it from one of my posts?)

    you can try uninstalling it via Add/remove Programs. Then download it again from here. Then unzip and run the Setup file

    If that fails, you're probably best to get a new cam
