    MS is cranking new OS's out too quickly lately IMHO. Vista was brought out before it was ready and W7 is basically "Vista done right". Now within a year they're expecting everyone to fork over big bucks again for W8? Nah, I'll be waiting a long time. If it ain't broke . . . well, you know. It's just like their Office Suite, too much money and too few real changes to justify constantly upgrading.

    It feels way to soon for a new Windows. I still haven't gotten around to installing win7 at home, and the place where I work is still running XP also.
    I have to agree with what several others have said - a 5-6yr release cycle sounds a lot better than a 3yr.
    Win8 being off the same kernel as 7 I don't really anticipate any ground breaking changes, strikes me more as its going to be a Windows 7.5.
