Weird pauses on my PC

I get this noise (like how when you first bootup) once every while.. and my music player (winamp) pauses for a few seconds.. happens frequently.. it doesnt freezes my computer.. but it makes that noise (i'm not sure where it's actual location but I never had this issue before).

Its happening frequently, anyone know what's the problem?

Not on bootup, it could be my pc is idle or me browsing firefox, actually most has occurred when I have my media player on and firefox on both active.
