I have a Western Digital Mybook World Edition II. I disabled the file sharing software called Mionet, on my computer.
I was able to map the Public folder to a drive letter. The problem is I cannot edit or delete any files nor add directories in subfolders on this drive. This is true for all users on my home network. How do I alter permissions and ownership of the files and directories in Public? I want everyone to have full read/write, edit, and delete access. I was able to set up access via an SSH client. However I have no knowledge of Unix, which appears to be the OS on this drive.
