Am I gonna be the first to admit that I drive a minivan? Maybe I'll still get that R35 some day, or a nice M6 or something... but for now it's daddy time!

I drive an old piece of junk. But what a piece of junk. Wait... that sounded even worse.

Copy-paste into browser if you get a 'Forbidden!' message (403).

    It's a Volvo 740GL mark 88b (1987), the very best!

    My ride's older than me...

Broken exhaust system, close-to-no gaskets, one broken fuel pump (2/3 operational), misaligned ignition setting, broken steering servo-liquid tank (e.g. no servo-liquid for the steering), no ceiling (the cat tor it down :D ), no housing for the left rear reverse-light, every wheel is crooked by at least 2 degrees, toe in/out misaligned on 2 wheels, no gas tank inner lid (got stolen - God knows why), clutch is completely ruined, gearbox is misaligned (how?!), fuel metre is broken, velocity metre is broken (I simply estimate the speed based on rpm and current gear), rear right door inner casing is gone, central locking system is ka-putte, antenna is filed down (I actually did that willingly), cooling tank is leaking, windshield 'spraying device' is internally clogged up, rear and front right doors are un-openable from the outside, dashboard is cracked, lighter plug is broken internally, seat-belt recognition has broken, seating heating is malfunctioning, rear-windshield internal heating is broken, accelerometer pedal has to go halfway to the Himalayas before it responds to any kind of pressure, windshield wipers ONLY work on "super slow" and "Turbo" mode, metre back-lighting is dead (can't see it in the dark!), the handbrake doesn't respond, driver's ceiling mirror is missing, horn only squeaks, all the chromed lining has dissipated with time, fuel-to-air ratio is over the roof, the paintwork is literary letting go of the body!, and the exhaust pipe is hanging by a thread. Really, it's held up by 20 gauge copper wire.

Passes vehicle inspection every time. No... really, it does... probably because the brakes work... still.

    Edit:
Oh yeah, and the gear knob is missing.

It's funny to see this old thread still ticking. It was in my subscribed threads, I had to go through 4 years of posts to find out what I had posted here...

I kept that Fusion for 3 years (the longest I have ever kept any vehicle), but just couldn't keep driving a little car anymore. About a year ago I traded it in for a 2006 Ford F-150 STX Supercab 4x4 and couldn't be happier. :)

This is my 3rd pickup truck. Every time I buy a different style vehicle, I seem to end up going back to a pickup truck the next time around

People often comment that with high gas prices, the lower fuel economy of the truck must be killing me, but honestly it doesn't bother me at all. I knew about the MPG before I bought it, so it's not like I was sursprised by it. Besides, even though it is a larger and heavier truck, it still gets better mileage than my smaller Dodge Dakota did.

TREE HUGGERS, YOU CAN CRY AGAIN! (but at least you can be happy that I drove a fuel efficient car for 3 years before going back to a "gas guzzler" ;)
