  1. I am ordering a Dual Monitor new PC.

I would like to record TV programs on my hard drive & watch TV on one screen & work on PC on a second screen at the same time.

Can somebody please explain what extra hardware & software do I need to order in new PC ?

Also I have a choice of two video cards namely :

    128MB PCIe(TM)x16 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8300GS w/TV-Out, VGA & DVI
    256MB PCIe(TM)x16 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8600GT w/TV-Out & Dual DVI

The 256 MB is more than twice in price.

I am not a gamer but I do analyze stocks charts with live streaming data with graphic software.

So do I need 256 MB or 128 MB would do ?

    Thank You.

You need a TV tuner device to get video input. They come with their own software.
