http://dmt.mhilfe.de/ is a link to a German site where I found and successfully used software for my previous Voyager 210 modem. Now that modem has failed and I replaced it with a Netgear DG834. I would like to use the same sort of really detailed tone-frequency testing for this unit. As far as the DMT site is concerned, it would seem that v8.07 would be OK, but unfortunately, it does not seem to work.
As I cannot read german, I wonder if I am doing things wrong - particularly when the DMT.EXE screen shows port, login and password, what am I expected to put in there ? Anyone know ?
