It could be all of the custom textures that Cromm has implemented. It can also be among many other things. It is a matter of trial and error.

• Try renaming the 'texture' folder so that doesn't load.
• If that fails, rename only the 'configs' folder so that doesn't load.
• If that fails, try the same with the 'scripts' folder.
• If that fails, try swiping your user.ltx and use a stock/default configuration.

I am not sure if you have tried any of that yet but it should help you to get a better idea if it is actually the mod that is causing the problem along with which part of the mod. Also, keep in mind that this is a very buggy game. I get errors/bugs/crashes more than I should.

I'd go for Crysis.

Crysis has great graphics but the gameplay gets boring.

if it makes you feel any better i had problems with it too. i got it to work but it kept crashing my game. i couldn't fix it either so i had to reinstall the whole game. i was pretty annoyed to say the least.
