Oh! I now see you've been working on this...

    1. Instead of all the multiple, consecutive posts, is better if you click Edit button to edit your last post then write
/* edit 1 */ or /* edit 2 */ etc. followed by the new information you want to add

    2. I'll look on things tomorrow when i can

    3. Just thought you might find this as funny as i did

    On ATT Site FAQ:
Where can I get more help for 2Wire Home Networking?
Additional support for 2Wire Home Networking cna be found online at the 2Wire Support Site.

    On 2Wire Site
Then when you look at the 2Wire Support site, of course, they tell you all support and manuals come from your DSL supplier! LOL :haha:

Yeah, I looked back at that and it is not easy to follow. I just get a little anxious is all.

    Hi!

Thought i'd check to see where things stand before i looked further. If you haven't had success connecting to the isy-99 yet i'd advise start by first proving you connect through to a target computer using its telnet port (port #23)

Make sure telnet service is running on the target computer
    > Click Start->Run, enter services.msc
    > Scroll to Telnet. Make sure it's StartupType= Automatic
===> If need be, rt click Properties and change its startup type=Automatic. Then Reboot

Now from local computer open a command prompt window
    >> For XP per below, syntax a bit different for Vista and Win 7
    > Start->Run, enter cmd then copy/paste the command line to prove it connects using target's local ip address
    telnet xx.xx.xx.xx
    > Then try it again using the dns hostname
    telnet dnshostname

Then try telnet again using dnshostname while outside your local network when you can try it

I got it to work. Thanks. So far so good.
