I think Rudy comments about, "trial by combat", are tantamount to treason, which is a potential death penalty offense. I have no doubt that the lesser included offense, :inciting a riot", would be provable.
That's assuming Trump doesn't issue pardons to all his henchmen before his term ends.
The results of Georgia's runoff elections seem to be rebuke of Trump's pressure on Georgia's elected officials, asking them to "lie about the vote count", overtly, and in public. Which in itself, is a criminal offense.
Trump was only elected by the trick of the Electoral College. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, Trump, "quite mistakenly", labeled the results a "landslide".
I'm struggling to figure out why, expected to win the majority of the popular vote this time, when he failed to do so in 2016..

We usually send them to Guantanamo, a give litte thought to their fate. Although, that fate is reserved for foreign actors. I wouldn't be opposed to sending "America's mayor there. Perhaps a good water boarding might finish washing out his hair dye.
Over the past four years, I have been mystified as to why, ostensibly sane people, have been so seduced by a sociopath and a pathological liar, as to riot in his defense.
sigh - I don't see a terrorist as a political opponent. They are terrorists. If you think I was advocating the death of hundreds of people you are a fool. But now that you mention it if it can be proven they directly caused the death of an American? What would you think?

Nobody died and I doubt any of them got charged with anything more serious than a disorderly. NBC certainly wasn't calling them terrorists.
