I am trying to connect my Geforce FX 5200 video card with DVI out to my 47" Sony Wega (Yes it had DVI in). Currently I have it connected via S-Video, which is all right but still not what I am looking for. I am wondering what kind of cable do I use to connect it, is it DVI-I, DVI-D, or DVI-A. What is the difference and which one do I need? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

dvi

Well, dvi d is digital, dvi a is analog, and dvi i can use analog or digital. Remember, digital can connet to digital, analog to analog, but analog<->digital doesn't work, unless you buy a 200-300 dollar converter. So check your tv to see what type of input it has, and check your card to see which it has, hopefully they both are digital. If they are digital, you can use dvi d (or dvi i).
