What manufactures supply inf files for LCD displays?

I have a Planar PL190M LCD monitor and they don't supply a .inf file.
I think that is 'strange' for a $600 monitor to have to use a generic 4 year old file from Windows. I'm running 2k (please don't try to sell me on FP, er XP either).

How many manufactures supply .inf files for their LCD monitors?

Most, if not all, new monitors can provide DDC information to the computer about supported resolutions and timings, so if the graphics card driver can use that, there's no need for "inf"-files. The color profiles are a different story though.
